The website does not use sessionStorage. Google Analytics 4 may set analytics cookies only after you accept optional services. It saves your consent choice in localStorage under phinius-consent-v1, together with a version, update time and optional consent states. This preference remembers whether you selected Accept or Reject across page visits. Analytics remains inactive before acceptance or after Reject. No advertising tags are installed. This does not mean an embedded third-party service cannot use its own cookies or storage.
3. Strictly Necessary Functionality
Navigation, enquiry-mode selection and carousel controls use page state in memory. They do not persist those choices in browser storage. The privacy preference is stored persistently; you can change it using Cookie Settings in the footer. If your browser blocks storage, the choice may need to be made again. Enquiry forms transmit submitted details to the website’s server for email delivery and do not save entered details to persistent browser storage through website code. Cloudflare Turnstile provides essential spam protection on enquiry forms, independently of optional-service consent, and may process browser and network signals for security. Linked services such as Substack, Shofar Books, social platforms and media publishers may use cookies when you visit them. Their cookies and privacy practices are controlled by those services, rather than by this website.
5. Embedded / External Content
Some pages use a YouTube video player with the youtube-nocookie.com embed domain and YouTube’s iframe API. The player and API stay blocked until you choose Accept. After acceptance, the player is prepared as it approaches the viewport, so requests to YouTube may occur before you press Play. Reject keeps these services blocked, and withdrawing acceptance removes the active embed. Withdrawal cannot erase cookies or data already held by a third party. Playback and third-party interaction may involve cookies or browser storage under YouTube’s practices. Privacy-enhanced embedding is not a guarantee of no third-party data processing.
6. Optional Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, measures website usage and records successful enquiries without enquiry field contents. Its script and initial page measurement load only after Accept. Before acceptance and after Reject, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are denied. Accept grants analytics_storage only; advertising permissions stay denied. You can reject optional analytics or change your choice through Cookie Settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent disables subsequent analytics collection and removes accessible Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already held by Google. Google Ads, advertising profiling and Meta Pixel are not installed.
